Authorities on Thursday identified a man who was killed while riding his bicycle in South Los Angeles early Monday, April 16. Christopher White, 60, of Hawthorne was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and Century Boulevard at 12:05 a.m. Monday, police said. He was riding southbound on Avalon Boulevard in a crosswalk when he was struck by a motorist who was turning left onto westbound Century Boulevard from northbound Avalon Boulevard, a release from the Los Angeles Police Department said.
