Harlingen is located in southernmost Texas in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. It is about thirty miles from the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. In 1904 Lon C. Hill founded the town Harlingen after the city of the name in the Netherlands. At first the town was mostly agricultural. It had major crops of vegetables and cotton. Duncannon man gets up to 14 years for robbing McDonald's

A Perry County man will serve up to 14 years in prison for the robbery of a Harrisburg-area McDonald's last year. Cody R. Chiolo, 38 of Duncannon, was ordered to serve seven to fourteen years in state prison after a guilty plea last week.
