A 28-year-old man is in custody after a police investigation into the killing of a man in South Dallas on April 1. Carlton Beale was arrested in an unrelated warrant Monday and was determined to be a suspect in the death of 34-year-old Brandon Chew after detectives questioned him. Chew was shot outside a nightclub in the 4300 block of South Malcolm X Boulevard and later died from his injuries.
