Sound of breaking glass during Chino store robbery mistaken for active shooter

Chino police are investigating a robbery Monday afternoon at a Curacao store initially thought to be an active shooter when people in the business mistook the sound of breaking glass for gunfire. Officers quickly determined there was no active shooter at the store, at 5459 Philadelphia Street, and a robbery had occurred, according to a Chino police news release.
