Woman arraigned on drug trafficking charge

A Warren woman was arraigned Tuesday on an aggravated drug trafficking charge after police raided a Lener Avenue home Monday morning. Members of the Warren Police Department Street Crimes Unit and Tactical Entry Team found about 25 grams of suspected drugs.

Bristolville man held on $200K

A Bristolville man who was indicted last week in connection to the Nov. 2 robbery at the Sheetz on Elm Road was being held on $200,000 bond after his arraignment Monday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. This is the third time Derek M. Markley, 34, 4705 N. Park Ave. Extension, has been accused of robbing the same gas station, records show.

Police investigate multiple gunshots

Warren police were called Sunday to Laird Avenue and Edgewood Street NE after receiving several reports from residents of up to 20 gunshots. A 911 report shows the calls were made shortly after 8 p.m. after witnesses saw a black male with a rifle jump into an SUV that fled south on Laird Avenue.

Cleveland man guilty of rape

A Trumbull County jury deliberated most of the day Thursday before returning guilty verdicts against a Cleveland area man on five felony charges linked to the sexual assault of a pre-teen girl.
