Blown-out tire causes fatal crash in Grand Prairie

A 27-year-old Arlington man died in an accident in Grand Prairie Thursday after his tire blew out, causing him to lose control of his truck, police said. Courtney Payne was driving a 1997 Chevrolet pick-up about 6:40 p.m. on westbound Interstate 20 near Great Southwest Parkway when he lost control of the truck because of the blown out tire and collided with a Chevrolet Malibu, police said.
