An Akron man severely injured his 2-year-old daughter when he shot her in the head Saturday while unloading his gun, police said. Dexter Brooks, 27, is charged with felony child endangering in the shooting at his house on Dunbar Drive near West Thornton Street, police said.

Akron federal Judge John Adams sues to fight order to undergo psychiatric evaluation
