A multi-agency raid at a La Mirada home and locations in Whittier, La Habra and Brea Tuesday morning resulted in the arrests of 11 people tied to a theft ring that stole credit card information and made purchases at malls and stores across the region. According to a U.S. Department of Justice indictment, the ring leaders in the scheme manufactured credit card skimming devices that were then used to steal the numbers from customers at restaurants.
