Rochester man charged with 36 counts of sexual abuse

A grand jury indictment unsealed in Jefferson County Court Friday charged a Rochester man with 36 counts of various sex crimes. Roy A. Hillyard, 58, was charged with 22 counts of second-degree criminal sex act, four counts of third-degree rape, four counts of sexual misconduct, three counts of forcible touching, two counts of second-degree attempted rape and one count of third-degree criminal sex act.
