Zapf may appeal misconduct report

An attorney representing Robert Zapf said Friday the former Kenosha County District Attorney has solid grounds to appeal findings filed against him in the Wisconsin Supreme Court. They are included in a strongly worded report by retired Racine Judge Dennis Flynn, who additionally recommended suspending Zapf's law license for a year, barring him permanently from serving as a prosecutor in Wisconsin and applying other disciplinary measures.

SBA approves flood assistance for some Wisconsin counties

The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved Governor Walker's request for federal low-interest disaster loans for people and businesses affected by flooding in southeastern Wisconsin last month. Kenosha alderman arrested

RACINE, WI Kenosha City Alderman G. John Ruffolo is locked up in the Racine County Jail awaiting stalking charges. Ruffolo was arrested Tuesday morning at his home, and will be in court Wednesday according to the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

County Board backs Foxconn deal

Kenosha County Board supervisors backed the Foxconn deal Tuesday, approving a resolution calling for the state Legislature to approve the incentive plan to bring the tech giant to southeastern Wisconsin. The board voted to suspend its rules of order to vote on the resolution without sending it to committee.
