Police Rescue Puppy in Locked Car, Find Drugs and Gun Inside

Police rescued a puppy in a locked car in Pomona early today and subsequently arrested the owner of the vehicle after finding a gun and drugs inside. Police received a call about a puppy locked in a car without an owner present at 12:50 a.m. in the 100 block of West Second Street, according to the Pomona Police Department.

Driver ejected and killed when his car overturns in Chino, CHP says

He contacted the other driver after a minor property-damage collision in Chino, but for unknown reasons a 19-year-old Pomona resident fled at high speed and died when his car overturned and he was ejected Sunday, Sept. 17, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
