Motorcyclist dies in Hwy 395 crash Friday

Cornelius Turner, of Victorville, died after being involved in a crash on Highway 395 and Palmdale Road, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department officials said in a Sunday statement. Electric Bus to Start Rolling in Lancaster

The world's first all-electric articulated bus will roll into service Friday in Lancaster, the Antelope Valley Transit Authority has announced. The 60-foot bus was built in Lancaster by BYD Motors Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Chinese electric vehicle and battery maker BYD Motors Ltd. First delivered to the transit authority in May, the bus has since undergone preparation for service including being outfitted with technology for data collection, performance tracking and surveillance, the transit authority said.
