Authorities say three men who escaped from a community based correction facility in northeast Ohio have been captured. The Lorain County Sheriff's Office says the men who escaped around 6:45 p.m. Friday from the Lorain/Medina Community Based Correctional Facility in Elyria Township were caught within two hours by Elyria police.

Three inmates from the Lorain/Medina Community Based Correctional Facility are back in custody after escaping on Friday evening. According to the Lorain County Sheriff's Office, 26-year-old Joshua Eli Natal-Morales, 23-year-old Michael David Kilgore, and 26-year-old Reynaldo Rivera Franco broke out a window of the correctional facility, fled from the grounds, and went eastbound on foot just after 6:45 p.m. Elyria Police and Lorain County Sheriff Deputies set up a perimeter along Infirmary Road and West River Road while officers began to search the area.

A 13-year-old girl admitted to sending a social media message that referenced "blowing up" her middle school but told a detective she never intended to harm anyone, authorities said. A Midview Middle School student told sheriff's deputies Friday morning that she sent the message to another student, the Lorain County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

It took 45 minutes for crews to get the flames under control.

The Chronicle-Telegram reports the fire started around 12:30 p.m. and appeared to originate in the Lake Avenue home's basement, according to Sheffield Fire Chief Jeff Young. It took 45 minutes for departments from Sheffield, Sheffield Lake, Elyria, Elyria Township, Avon and Avon Lake to bring the blaze under control.
