Elyria man charged with killing his ex-girlfriend

Roy Owens Jr. is charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse, according to court records. Owens beat and stabbed 56-year-old Linnea Satterfield before he placed her in his trunk, police said.
