Radio personality sues Gene Simmons for groping, harassment

A TV and radio broadcaster filed a lawsuit against Kiss bassist Gene Simmons, claiming he made sexual innuendos during an on-camera interview and later groped her buttocks. The broadcaster, identified only as Jane Doe, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court after she interviewed him at his new Rock & Brews restaurant on Nov. 1, the San Bernardino Sun reported.

A man suspected of robbing a business in Lake Elsinore is taken to an ambulance after the vehicle he was driving collided with another vehicle on Cajalco Road near the 15 Freeway in Corona. A man suspected of robbing a Lake Elsinore business threw wads of cash on the freeway while leading Riverside County sheriff's deputies on a car chase Saturday, Dec. 9. The suspect, whose identity was not released, walked into a business in the 29900 block of Canyon Hills Road at 4:15 p.m. and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Deputy Armando Munoz of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Alvord schools chief pushed out by board

Alvord schools Superintendent Sid Salazar was terminated this week by the school board, a school trustee said Saturday, Dec.9. The 3-2 vote, taken Thursday, Dec. 7, involves buying out Salazar's contract. That means he will receive 12 months' worth of pay, according to a video of the meeting posted by trustee Joseph Barragan.
